| Ten months into the development of the infrastructure and public spaces component of the Comunidad Río Bayamón Norte (CRBN) model project, the Government Development Bank (GDB) contractors have completed 20% of the work, while 26% of the contract period has elapsed. During this phase of the project (Phase I), the elements that are in progress are the electrical power, sanitary and storm sewer systems. At the same time, the contractor also works on Phase II, which includes earthworks, cut and fill operations, among others. At the end of GDB’s intervention, the area will also have a road infrastructure and sidewalks, an entrance to the Jardines Station of Tren Urbano connecting to PR-177 and an urban park that integrates a stream as its governing element |
Después de casi diez meses de comenzado el componente de infraestructura y espacios públicos del proyecto modelo Comunidad Río Bayamón Norte (CRBN), los contratistas del BGF han completado un 20% habiendo transcurrido 26% del periodo del contrato. Los elementos del componente de infraestructura y espacios públicos que se encuentran en progreso en esta fase de los trabajos (Fase I) son el sistema eléctrico y los sistemas de distribución de agua potable y acueductos. Al mismo tiempo, el contratista trabaja también en la Fase II, que incluye trabajos relacionados al movimiento de tierras, sobrecargas, excavaciones y rellenos. Al finalizar la intervención del BGF, el área contará además con carreteras, aceras, una entrada a la Estación Jardines del Tren Urbano desde la carretera PR-177 y un parque urbano que integra una quebrada como elemento ordenador. |
